Inscription

In affectionate remembrance of Ann the beloved daughter of Goodman and Elizabeth Payne, who departed this life December 19th 1839 in the 4th year of her age.

Dear to her parents, to her God more dear,

A lovely daughter sweetly slumbers here

How blest her lot, from sin from sorrow free,

Tho' dead to us, yet she's alive to thee.
